rosina wachmeister.

this is beautiful. irl it is laced with bits of gold. being the hoarding magpie that i am. i want. i need.

boop.

okay. so was reading amazing susie bubble last week and found out about the jumble sale held by the east end thrift store during last weekend. i had to go along even if i tumbled in on the sunday when most of the goodies would have probably been picked up by ready thrifters the morning before. i just had to go. i missed the angels sale and still haven't gotten over it.

for a lovely recession friendly £10 i managed to bag many many scarves, most of which were made in japan. glorious amounts of oversized waistcoats and other bits and bobs. the staff were amazing and helpful and left me in peace whilst i ransacked their jumble stock.

my treasures include a blue plaid waistcoat, a forest green dog-tooth waistcoat, a burnt orange head band/tie. it reminds me a of the 'we can do it!' poster. a bluey/turquoise japanese scarve and a wierd tapestry-like band. i'm not sure of its past life but i'm going to rework it into a belt/headband. the texture is love.

in other news, all the juicy blogging/tweeting (from faves: disneykid1 and mememolly (and the rest of the world (and also virgin atlantic miles) )) about sims 3 has pushed me to click the 'buy' button this morning at 1am. hor. i have no self control despite MY CURRENT STATE OF POOR.

obituary. i like that word.

all i want to this summer is lie in bed with sims 3.

is that sad?

big five oh.

i like this space. i love the anonymity.

need to paint an old old photo of my father and i for his big five oh.
since exams have finished, all types of procrastination activity have severely dampened down. that makes me kind of sad since self-timering and youtube videomaking was pretty awesome.

so the asos floral 'jeggings' (first read on susiebubble? don't like the word either) have been on sale for a couple of months now. still want them! but lack funds. siiiiigggggggggh. but they have gone down the priority list upon renewed wants mentioned in the previous post.

Homemade Iced Pearl Tea

Oh. good good.

Sister Act The Musical was ammmmaaaazing. The 'granny' sister must be one of the funniest west end characters ever.

Full house standard ovation. yes. Hor. Ticket was free too. That probably made it even more fabulous given my current state of poor.

So many things are going to/have already been released that I want so MUCH.
Said things include:

  • Sims 3!!!which I have waited since forever for.
  • Macbook Pro (SL). Jumping on the bandwagon I am.
  • iPhone 3GS
  • Satio
  • AMAZING Rosina Wachmeister 2000 piece puzzle. At some point in my life this will definately hang in my hallway.
That's it for now....I suppose.

Went to the BM yesterday and saw my childhood mummy.

Role models is a very odd movie. I'm not sure of I like it.

Hi, my name is Seb.

No, not really, my name is Dinosaur Pop. DP is my secret identity, much like Superman but quantum folds less super.

DP is my online BMW, allowing me to drive around the interwebs anonymously, drunk even. No DUIs.

DP is good for my soul, a temporary shelter from the harshness of reality.

This is where I hide, constantly observing. Find me if you wish.

I like dictionaries, did I tell you?

I *SE logo* SE

I absolutely CAN NOT WAIT for the SE Idou (concept name) this 2nd quarter, just salivating over newly googled pics here at fony.sk

mMmmm. yum.

It's frustrating, there's a picture in the album of the Idou alongside the E71. God, the E71 repulses me! Before it kind of dazzled me with its slender body and then-stunning appearance, it was enough to attract me to buy it without pedantically consulting the 'insides'. Browsing in Carphone Warehouse it seriously looked amazing (superficial i know). So, lacking self control and all the warning alarms that sounded in my head (I'm a SE girl at heart) I clicked my way over to the 3 website and brought the Nokia E71 (ARGH!! Nokia? seriously?) I thought I'd give Nokia a chance, I mean the last one I owned was the 8310? or 8210? but seriously I tried the N series a few times and they did not bode well with my soul (perhaps I was too accustomed to the SE UI). Also 3 has quite a good contract at the moment.

So last night I received my E71, unboxed it, put the battery in and switched it on. I was disappointed, unlike my w960i unboxing in Jan 2008, there was no feelings of flittering fires inside my heart. =( Instead? a sub standard Nokia, heavy as hell with a faulty navigation pad.....*sigh* I think the E71 would be fantastic for the business side of things but the OS aesthetics/usability are really sub par.

I was a media orientated user buying a phone better suited for the crackberry crew. Which is silly.

Luckily, 3 are lovely enough to take it back!! PHEW. I guess I'll stick to my trusty W960i until the Idou finally arrives. I don't know how I'm going to survive the wait, it'll probably be the end of the year if there are any delays.

big fat BLEHs and amazings.

uh, feet crave x missed released dates = big FAT BLEH!!!!

Oh god, these ASOS floral pants are so amazing. When are they going to be on sale?
